A whole from the suite?
Business Week, the New York Times, and other MSM publications offer a large array of narrowly defined blogs on their websites: wine, sports, Paul Krugman, business deals, etc. There appears to be very little coherence to the blogs or their presentation, which is sort of odd to see from a general interest paper. Moreover, some of these blogs don't get much attention, at least as manifested by the comments. I wonder if it wouldn't make sense to add an aggregate blog to the mix that automatically publishes the most recent posts from the suite of blogs. It would create a more global sense of what the paper is trying to achieve with its currently fragmented component blog parts, and it might expose readers to subjects they might not have otherwise encountered, which is one of the goals of newspaper editors.
