Start a business, eff around(?)

In a recent post, Guy Kawasaki illustrates one reason why it could be pretty cool to start your own business: to some extents, you can do whatever the f*** you want.
Obviously, you'd have to get some work done to sustain profits, but if you think workers should be treated a certain way, or offices should look and feel a certain way, starting a business seems like a good way to finance those ambitions.

I think it's reached the point, at least between me and my parents, where it's the idea of starting a business and not effing around that seems counterintuitive (again, to my parents. Possibly to Terrill also).
